Known for his rocketing home runs, this game used bat visually demonstrates the power unleashed by Giancarlo Stanton. The Marucci G27-M model bat was used by Stanton during the 2013 season where he hit 24 home runs and this bat shows evidence of outstanding use. This un-cracked bat displays many ball marks with stitch impressions as well as blue ink transfers and white leather ball scuffs throughout the barrel. A moderate coat of pine tar is on the handle and the impression from a weighted batting donut can be seen. There is a mark on the handle that identifies the grain, which has been mandatory per Major League Baseball for all maple bats since 2009. Stamped on the knob is Stanton’s number “27”, the bat’s manufacture date “8/25/13”, length “4” and weight “2.0”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14780) who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10.
