By luck of the schedule, the Houston Astros faced off in a four-game series to close out the 2017 regular season and also served as a preview for the American League Division Series that pitted the same two teams. Houston Astros star shortstop Carlos Correa wore this Majestic Flex Base size 46 road gray jersey during the September 28th game at Fenway Park. Correa led the way as the Astros pounded Red Sox pitching en route to a 12-2 victory as Correa went 4-4 with a home run, three runs scored and three RBI.
Correa wore this button-down jersey during the September 28th game and it features “HOUSTON” sewn on across the chest in navy blue and orange tackle twill. Correa’s number “1” is sewn on in the same navy blue and orange pattern. Navy blue piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons and a special “HOUSTON STRONG” circular patch is sewn on the upper left chest. The back of the jersey has “CORREA” and his “1” are sewn on in navy blue and orange tackle twill, along with a vinyl MLB logo patch sewn on in blue, white and orange. The left sleeve has a circular “HOUSTON ASTROS” logo patch sewn above the navy blue embroidered Majestic logo. Each sleeve also has navy blue piping and inch off the end. The sides and tails of the jersey have a matching gray mesh material and the Majestic tag is screen-printed on the bottom front left tail, along with an additional screen-printed Majestic bar code tag on the lower front right tail below the buttons that read “2017 PROP. OF HOUSTON 46 - 1.5 S ASTROS”. This jersey shows moderate use with some dirt stains and comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JC280125) which authenticates this jersey’s use by Correa during the September 28th game.
