Presented here is the first base used during the New York Yankees home contest against the Chicago White Sox on April 19^th, 2017. The Yankees won 9-1 behind a barrage of home runs, scoring seven of their runs on a series of blasts from Aaron Judge, Starlin Castro, Chase Headley, and Aaron Hicks. Judge’s home run the fifth of his rookie-record 52 home runs. This base was used during the first through fifth innings, and Judge hit his home run in the bottom of the fifth. The base shows good evidence of use on the surface, and Yankee logo plaques adorn each of the base’s four sides. “4/19/17 1^st – 5^th Inning 1^st Base” is written on the underside of the base in blue pen. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 727181) and a LOA from Steiner Sports.
