Under legendary manager Casey Stengel - and powered by stars Joe DiMaggio, Yogi Berra and Phil Rizzuto – the 1950 New York Yankees cruised through the regular season with a 96-58 record. The Yankees capped their dominant year with a sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series. DiMaggio batted .301 with 32 home runs and 122 runs batted in; Berra hit .322 with 28 HRs and 124 RBIs, and Rizzuto hit .324 with 125 runs scored. On the mound, Vic Raschi won 21 games, while 21-year-old Whitey Ford was 9-1 with a 2.81 ERA.

The face features a CZ set in the image of a baseball field, with the words “NEW YORK YANKEES WORLD CHAMPIONS” appearing in relief around the perimeter. The famed Yankees logo, along with the year 1950, is displayed on the shanks. Manufacturer and 14K marks appear inside the band of this approximate size 11 ring. This item weighs approximately 29.1 grams and comes with a Balfour ring box.
