He is tied with Bob Feller for most one-hitters, with 12, and Ryan is an eight-time MLB All-Star. His 5,714 career Ks rank first in baseball history and he won the 1969 World Series with the New York Mets.
Offered in this lot are five Cooperstown commemorative bats signed by Nolan Ryan in black marker. Four of the commemorative bats are from the teams Ryan played for during his career - the Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, California Angels, and New York Mets. All of these bats have a Major League Team Series pro ring around the stock. The final bat is a Nolan Ryan stats bat with a Famous Pitch pro ring around the stock.
