Offered are two jerseys worn by New York Mets infield Jose Reyes during his first and more productive stint with the ball club. The first jersey was worn by Reyes during the 2004 season, his second season of his career. This size 44 button-down home white Majestic jersey features “Mets” sewn across the front in blue, orange and black tackle twill. Reyes’ number “7” is sewn on in blue, orange and black tackle twill on the front left center. Blue piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons and also about an inch off the sleeve ends. The back of the jersey has “REYES” and his number “7” sewn on in blue, orange and black tackle twill with the MLB logo patch sewn on the upper back collar in blue, white and orange. The right sleeve has a square “SHEA STADIUM 40TH ANNIVERSARY 1964-2004” patch and below that is embroidered “Ya Gotta Believe” TUG in black in honor of Tug McGraw. The left sleeve has the Mets skyline logo patch. Reyes signed his name in silver marker diagonally on the “7” on the back. The Majestic tag is sewn on the inside front left tail with “44” and “set 1 2004” flags. This jersey shows moderate use with some dirt on the seams and was worn by Reyes prior to August 3rd as the Mets jersey had an additional notation added to their jerseys in honor of broadcaster Bob Murphy, which does not appear on this jersey. This jersey comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for the game use and a LOA from JSA (Z64064) and a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (K19899) for the signature.

The next jersey in this lot was the National League All-Star batting practice jersey Reyes wore during the 2006 All-Star game festivities in Pittsburgh. This size 44 Majestic pullover jersey with a one-button collar is all yellow with black and red trim. “NATIONAL” is sewn on across the chest in black, white and red tackle twill. The back of the jersey has “REYES” sewn on in black tackle twill with his number “7” sewn on in Pirates’ style black and red tackle twill. The MLB logo patch is sewn on in black, white and red. The sides of the jersey have a black stripe with red under arms and the sleeves have a black, red and yellow band at the ends. The left sleeve has the “2006 All*Star Game” logo patch sewn on while the right sleeve has the Mets skyline logo patch sewn on. This jersey shows light use and comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (BB200814) which authenticates the use of this jersey by Jose Reyes on July 11th, 2006.

The last two items in this lot are two Rawlings wrist bands worn by Reyes. They are all black with the Rawlings logo embroidered in red in white and Reyes’ number “7” embroidered in white. They show moderate game use.
