This base was used during the New York Mets game against the Washington Nationals on September 12^th, 2012 at Citi Field. The Mets lost 2-0, with solo home runs from Ryan Zimmerman and Ian Desmond spoiling an excellent Matt Harvey start. This base was used as second base during the fourth through sixth innings of the September 12^th contest. It has been signed by 25 members of the Mets, including David Wright, Daniel Murphy, Justin Turner, Jon Niese, Ruben Tejada, Chris Young, Kelly Shoppach, Dillon Gee, Josh Thole, Mike Baxter, Bobby Parnell, and several more. The signatures have been written in blue fiber tip marker. This Schutt base has September 11^th, 2001 memorial plaques on two sides and Mets plaques on the remaining two. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 044535) and a LOA from JSA (Z64032).
