Joe “Ducky” Medwick broke in with the Cardinals in 1932 and played 17 seasons with stops at the Dodgers, Giants and Braves. He was a 10-time All-Star and earned the 1937 MVP award from the Baseball Writers of America Association. He finished his career with 2,471 hits and a .324 BA. The Veterans Committee elected him to the Hall of Fame in 1968.

“Ducky” used this Hillerich & Bradsby F2 model bat during his last two seasons in the Majors with the St. Louis Cardinals during the 1947 and 1948 seasons. This bat displays heavy use and is un-cracked. There are numerous ball marks, stitch marks and bat rack streaks present on the barrel. There are also cleat imprints and the handle was taped, which has since been removed but still showing the residue from that tape. The model number “F2” has been stamped onto the knob and the bat weighs 34 ounces and is 35 inches long. This is a great gamer from a Hall of Fame player and this bat comes with a full LOA from Mears, who have graded this bat an A8.5.
