(Earliest Known and Authenticated Jordan autogrpah) Presented here are three items from the early life of Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all-time. Included in this collection are MJ’s Emma B. Trask Middle School yearbook from 1977, his D.C. Virgo Junior High School yearbook from 1978, and an original school newspaper from 1977. Jordan is often pictured in these yearbooks wearing an unfamiliar number “12” jersey, switching to “23” only once he began his career at Laney High School. Jordan has signed the back inside cover of the Emma B. Trask Middle School yearbook in gray pencil. This is one of the earliest known autographs of Michael Jordan.  The yearbook was owned by someone at the school during Jordan's time there.  These items are tremendously rare pieces of history from one of the best athletic careers in American history. The signed yearbook is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
