For good measure, MJ set career highs in rebounds (8) and assists (8) per game. The legendary shooting guard led the Bulls, the sixth seed in the East, to the Eastern Conference Finals where they fell in six games to the eventual NBA Champions, the Detroit Pistons. Although MJ was still a few years away from being a six-time NBA champion, the 25 year old superstar was well on his way to being the greatest player in NBA history in 1988-89.

     This white home mesh jersey was worn by Jordan during the 1988-89 season and has “BULLS” and “23” screen printed on the front in red and black. “JORDAN” is screen printed across the back shoulders in red tackle twill, with “23” screen printed in red and black beneath it.
