Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre started the fourth game of the 1992 season and would take the reigns under center for an NFL record 287 straight games. During the September 30, 2007 game against the Minnesota Vikings at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Favre would set the record for all-time touchdowns thrown with 421. Favre’s first quarter 16-yard touchdown pass to Greg Jennings set the TD record and it jump-started the Packers to the 23-16 victory.

Offered here is the full uniform worn by Favre during this historic day. Favre’s white Reebok size 52 mesh jersey has his number “4” sewn on in front, back and shoulders in green tackle twill. The back of the jersey has “FAVRE” sewn on in green tackle twill on a matching white nameplate. The collar has a ribbed material with green, white and yellow stripes and a “NFL EQUIPMENT” shield patch sewn on the base of the v-neck. The sleeves have screen printed green and yellow stripes, along with an embroidered Reebok logo patch. There is a team patch sewn on the inside back collar that read “07-52”. The shoulders, sleeves and sides have a Spandex material and the bottom of the jersey has an inner elastic lining. Favre signed his name in silver marker on the back “4” and inscribed “4”, “NFL Record 421 Tds”, “Game Used 9/30/07” and “Pack 23 Vikes 14”. This jersey’s signature and inscriptions come with a LOA from JSA (X94208). Based on photo comparisons, this jersey appears to have been worn during the first half when Favre broke the all-time TD record. This jersey has been photo matched by Resolution Photomatching to the September 30th game.

The next item in this collection is the bright yellow game pants with the green and white striping on each side. These pants have the Reebok logo embroidered on the right thigh, while the “NFL EQUIPMENT” shield patch is sewn on the left thigh. On the inside zipper area is a yellow patch with a white “4” sewn on adjacent to the Reebok manufacturer’s tag that has “SHORT”, “38” and “MADE IN BERLIN, WI USA” flags attached. There is a yellow belt and Favre has signed the left thigh in black marker while inscribing “4” and “Game Used 9/30/07”.

The third item in this historic lot is a set of rib pads manufactured by Douglas. The outside of the pads are yellow and they are attached to criss-crossed shoulder straps. The pads are adjustable and are connected with Velcro straps. Favre signed these pads in black marker. Also included in this lot are a pair of white and green socks, shortened green socks, a pair of white socks, a white towel and two white wrist bands. This entire collection comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema and several photographs of Favre holding and/or signing these items. There are also two DVD's of the Fox broadcast of the September 30th, 2007 game.
