Detroit Lions quarterback Eric Hipple wore this blue Lions home jersey during the 1981 season, his first as a starter and second overall in the NFL. Hipple completed 140 passes for 2,358 yards and 15 touchdowns in 1981. "17" is screen printed in silver and white on the front, back and shoulders, while "HIPPLE" is sewn on in white tackle twill on a matching blue name plate on the back of the jersey. This jersey shows light to moderate wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
