Due to injuries and the emergence of Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young, Hall of Famer Joe Montana was limited to only one game between 1991 and 1992. Montana appeared in one preseason game in 1991 and then only appeared in the regular season finale in 1992 with the San Francisco 49ers. This offered red home San Francisco 49ers was issued to Joe Montana during the 1991 and 1992 seasons. This size 44 Wilson jersey features “16” sewn on this red mesh jersey in white tackle twill on the front, back and sleeves. The back of the jersey has “MONTANA” sewn on in white tackle twill on a matching red mesh name plate. The NFL shield logo patch is sewn on the base of the v-neck and each sleeve has three white stripes painted on. The Wilson tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail with two flags back-to-back, one being blank and the other having “44”. This jersey displays moderate use, however use of this jersey in a game by Montana cannot be confirmed. Montana has signed his name in black marker vertically on the “1” on the back. This jersey comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema and a LOA from JSA.
