Included in this lot are two game used and signed items from former New York Mets third baseman Ed Charles. The first item in this lot, a blue Mets cap, was worn by Charles circa 1967-69. The hat shows exceptional wear, however much of the rigid interior of the brim is missing. Charles has signed the brim of this cap in silver marker. This cap comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema. Also included in this lot is a pair of Charles’ black baseball cleats. The cleats are in excellent condition and have been signed on each toe in silver marker by Charles. Additionally, Charles has signed the sole of the left cleat in black pen. The cleats come with a LOA from JT Sports. Each item comes with an individual COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signatures.
