New York Mets skipper Bobby Valentine wore this offered white home alternate jersey during the tail end of the 2001 season, as evidenced by the “9-11-01” memorial patch on the right sleeve and the American flag patch sewn on the back outside collar. Valentine has signed the back of this number “2” size “44” jersey in black marker. A “Set 1 2001” flag is sewn on the inside front left tail. Also included is a blue size 7 1/8 Mets hat worn and signed on the brim in silver marker by Valentine. The signatures comes with individual COAs from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
