Offered here is a collection of game used items from Lenny Dykstra’s career with the New York Mets. The first item, a blue Mets cap, was worn by Dykstra during his rookie season, in 1985. Dykstra has signed the underside of the brim of this cap in blue marker. The next item is a blue button-down Starter jacket worn by Dykstra in the late 1980’s. Dykstra has signed the back of this jacket in silver marker, inscribing “Nails” beneath his signature. The jacket and cap both come with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema. Finally, Dykstra’s blue and white Asics Tiger cleats are included. Dykstra wore these cleats in 1985. He has signed each shoe in black marker, inscribing “Rookie 1985” beneath his signatures.
