Offered here are two bases used during games in which David Wright reached a new milestone in his career or season. The first base was used on May 4th, 2009 during a Mets road game against the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field. Wright hit a two-run homer in this game, a 6-4 Mets win. This was Wright’s 132nd career homer and it accounted for his 500th career RBI. He has signed this base in blue marker, inscribing “500th RBI” and “5/4/09”. This base, collected after the sixth inning, comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (BB 764359).
The second base was used on September 29th, 2010 at Citi Field during the Mets 8-7 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 1 of a doubleheader. Wright homered in this game, driving in his 100th run of the season with his 28th blast of the year. This was the 168th homer of Wright’s career. Wright has signed the top of this base in blue marker, inscribing “100 RBI” and “168th HR” beneath his signature. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 949303).
