Hunter Pence spent his last season with the Houston Astros in 2011 as he was dealt to the Philadelphia Phillies just before the trade deadline in July. Pence paid immediate dividends to the Phillies by clubbing 11 home runs, driving in 35 and hitting .324 in 54 games helping Philadelphia to the National League East Division title. Pence used this Dinger P-9 during the 2011 season. This bat displays moderate game use and had a small crack on the handle. There are ball marks and blue ink transfers on the barrel and Pence’s number “9” has been hand written in black marker on the knob and “7-1-2011” is dated on the barrel, making it likely one of the last bats he used while a member of the Astros. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13113) for the game use.
