Lou Piniella wore this pinstriped, button down home jersey during the 2010 MLB season, his fourth and final year as the manager of the Chicago Cubs. A longtime player and manager who began his Major League service in 1964, Piniella managed the Cubs for the first 125 games of the 2010 season before resigning his post to care for his ailing mother. Over his 23 year managerial career, Piniella accumulated 1,835 victories and won the 1990 World Series as the skipper of the Cincinnati Reds.

This jersey has the Chicago Cubs logo sewn on the front left chest, and an alternate Cubs logo sewn on the left sleeve above a blue Majestic logo. “PINIELLA” and his number “41” are sewn on the back of the jersey in blue and red tackle twill beneath a MLB logo patch. The underarm areas of the jersey are made of white mesh fabric. A Majestic size “50” tag has been applied to the front left tail of the jersey near a Majestic COOL BASE flag. A “41 50 ’10 S12” tag has been sewn on the back inside collar. Piniella signed the “4” digit on the back of the jersey in silver marker, inscribing “Game Worn 2010” as well. This item comes with a JSA STICKER ONLY (F59593) to authenticate the signature and a LOA from Steiner Sports for game use.
