Detroit Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler wore this 1945 throwback road jersey during the Tigers 15-8 win over the Chicago Cubs on August 19th, 2015. Kinsler went 2-5 in this game, contributing a double and knocking in a run on a seventh inning sacrifice fly. This throwback jersey has “Detroit” sewn across the chest in navy blue tackle twill and a replica of the patriotic patch worn by the Tigers from 1943-45 sewn on the left sleeve. The initials of the Tigers equipment manager Jim Schmakel are written on a Majestic tag located on the front left tail of this size “44” jersey. This jersey features dirt stains on the chest and comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 907588).
