Offered in this lot are three game used bats From Ellis Burks, Buddy Bell and Tony Armas. Burks used this Louisville Slugger C271 model bat during the 1994-97 seasons. Burks spent those seasons with the Colorado Rockies where he averaged 25 home runs, 71 RBI and a .311 average during those four seasons. This bat displays modrerate game use and has a crack on the handle. Burks' number "26" is hand written in silver marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13124) for the game use.

The second bat in this lot is from former infielder/outfielder Buddy Bell, who spent the prime of his career with the Texas Rangers and during the 1980-1983 seasons, Bell combined for 54 home runs, 280 RBI and maintained a solid .298 batting average. Bell used this Louisville Slugger S2 model bat during the 1980-83 seasons. This bat displays moderate to heavy game use and has a crack in the handle. There are several ball marks on the barrel and blue bat rack streaks are present on the knob and handle. The handle has been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip and a light coating of pine tar is on the mid-handle. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15399) for the game use.

The final bat in this lot is from slugger Tony Armas, who spent the majority of his career with the Oakland A’s and Boston Red Sox. Armas twice led the American League in home runs (22 in the strike-shortened 1981 season and 43 in 1984). Armas was issued this game used Louisville Slugger C243 model bat during the 1980 through 1983 seasons. This bat does displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. Use by Armas cannot be confirmed, but this gamer displays ball marks, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs on the barrel. There are also green bat rack streaks and the handle has been taped approximately eight inches from the knob in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip. Armas’ number “20” has been blacked out in marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14997). Please note that PSA/DNA has determined this bat was manufactured for Armas during the referenced labeling period, but use by Armas could not be confirmed.
