Terry Pendleton’s first stint with the Atlanta Braves covered four seasons (1991-1994), where he was the 1991 National League MVP. Pendleton used this Louisville Slugger R161 model bat during those four seasons in Atlanta, combining for 67 home runs, 305 RBI and a .293 batting average. This bat displays moderate to heavy game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. Blue bat rack streaks can be seen on the knob, handle and barrel. Pendleton’s number “9” is hand written in black marker on the knob and top barrel and the former Brave has also signed his name on the barrel in black marker with an inscription that reads “To Reed Best To You!”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14989) for the game use and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (E84996) for the signature.
