Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza wore this pinstriped New York Mets button-down home jersey in 2004. Piazza made the 11th of his 12 All-Star teams in 2004, hitting 20 homers with 54 RBI and 21 doubles for the Mets. This jersey shows light wear and and has "Mets" and "31" sewn on the front in blue, orange and black tackle twill. The back of the jersey has "PIAZZA" and "31" sewn on in blue, orange and black tackle twill. The left sleeve has a commemorative "SHEA STADIUM 40TH ANNIVERSARY" patch, while the right sleeve has the Mets skyline logo patch. This jersey comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema, who states that this jersey shows “no more than a few games worth of wear pre 8/4/04, after which the Bob Murphy memoriam” was added to the jersey.
