San Diego Padres Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn wore these batting gloves on September 7th, 1999. Gwynn collected the 3,035th hit of his career during that game, a double off Pittsburgh Pirates starter Jason Schmidt to lead off the eighth inning. The Pirates won this game 3-1. Gwynn has signed each glove in blue marker, however his signature exhibits ink bleeding. “3035 9/7/99” is written on each glove. These gloves come with a COA from the Gwynn family.
