In recognition of his part in bringing the first World Championship to Wrigleyville since 1908, the Chicago Cubs presented Kris Bryant with the highest paying contract ever given to a player in his first-year of arbitration. Bryant proved to be a good investment as he batted .295 with 29 homers and 73 RBI to push the Cubbies into the post-season. This Chandler KB17 model bat is un-cracked and shows moderate use. There are several ball marks and leather ball scuffs on the barrel and a light coat of pine tar on the handle. The model “KB17,” player number “17,” length “34,” and weight “30.1,” are written on the knob in silver marker. Bryant’s number “17” is also written on the barrel end in black marker and the length and weight are stamped. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13232) for the game use and has been graded a GU 8.5.
