San Francisco Giants star Barry Bonds wore this Wilson A2002 Model glove during his Hall of Fame-worthy career in 1992, his last season with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Bonds, the greatest power hitter to ever step into the batter’s box, crushed 762 home runs during his Major League career and walked more times than any other hitter, including the notoriously picky Ted Williams. Despite Bonds’ reputation as a hitter, the former Arizona State Sun Devil was one of the best fielding outfielders in the game during his prime. Bonds won eight National League Gold Glove awards between 1990 and 1998, adding 14 All-Star Games, 12 Silver Sluggers, and seven National League MVP Awards to his laundry list of career accolades.
This Wilson A2002 fielder’s glove fit over Bonds’ right hand. This glove has a Wilson/MLB logo tag sewn on the wrist band, with a second Wilson logo located on the webbing of the basket. “BARRY BONDS” is embroidered on the thumb in yellow. Bonds has signed the “T-Bar” portion of the webbing in gold marker. This glove comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA and a LOA from Barry Bonds for the game use.
