Barry Bonds wore these Fila cleats during the 2007 MLB season, the year he became baseball’s all-time home run king. Bonds, who began the 2007 season on 734 longballs, hit 28 home runs for the Giants in 2007. On August 4th, Bonds tied Hank Aaron with a home run in San Diego before breaking the record with number 756 on August 7th at AT&T Park. Bonds finished the season with 762 home runs, a Major League record that will likely never be broken.
These size “12” Fila cleats are black, with orange and gray accents. A Fila logo is embroidered on the outside of each shoe, while a second Fila logo is printed on the toe. Bonds’ number “25” is printed on the tongues, although the numbers do show slight wear from game use. A Bonds logo is printed on the heels, and a “2007” tag is sewn inside the tongue. The soles of the cleat are orange and black, with 12 rubber cleats and evidence of dirt still stuck between them. Bonds has signed each cleat in silver marker. These cleats come with a LOA from Barry Bonds.
