The Hall of Fame backstop Mike Piazza wore this blue, silver, and red Rawlings chest protector while with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1996. Piazza, a 62nd round draft pick by the Dodgers in 1988, played with the Dodgers from 1992 until 1998, when the Dodgers traded the future Hall of Famer to the Florida Marlins for Gary Sheffield and four other players. Piazza was named the 1993 National League Rookie of the Year with the Dodgers, and he finished his MLB career with 427 homers and a .308 batting average. This offered Rawlings road chest protector has a blue body with red and silver accents. A red and black Rawlings tag is sewn on the chest. Piazza has signed the chest in silver marker. This chest protector comes with a LOA from JT Sports for the game use and a COA from PSA/DNA (4A10598) for the signature.
