Behind the strength of the best young pitching staff in baseball, the 2015 New York Mets became the first team from Flushing to make the World Series since 2000. Backed up by Yoenis Cespedes, Daniel Murphy, and Curtis Granderson, the Mets stormed to the World Series, defeating the Cubs and Dodgers along the way. They battled admirably against the Kansas City Royals, losers of the previous World Series, but fell short of the championship in five games.
Offered here is a World Series baseball signed by 30 members of the 2015 Mets. This Official 2015 World Series Robert D. Manfred, Jr. baseball is signed by manager Terry Collins on the sweet spot, Jacob deGrom, Daniel Murphy, Curtis Granderson, Matt Harvey, David Wright, Steven Matz, Michael Conforto, Michael Cuddyer, Bartolo Colon, Jeurys Familia and others. All the signatures are written in blue ballpoint pen and are located all around the ball. Being a World Series ball, the Rawlings logo and all wordmarks are gold instead of black. The 2015 World Series logo is present on the ball, also in gold and this item comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (Z00978).
