Michael Jordan wore these Air Jordan XVII sneakers likely during the 2001-02 NBA season, his first year back in the NBA with the Washington Wizards. Jordan came back with a vengeance, averaging 22.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game in his first NBA action since the 1997-98 campaign. When Jordan did come back, he came back in style rocking these Air Jordan XVII “College Blue” colorway sneakers.
These shoes are both a size 13.5, with black accents and a blue midsole. Jumpman logos are located on both heels and toes, while a “Jordan” tag is located near the base of each tongue. A black tag is located on each heel, however the tag on the right shoe has broken off. The soles of these shoes are white, with gray and blue accents. Jordan has signed the heel of the left shoe in black marker. These shoes come with a COA from Upper Deck (BAH94054).
