Golden State Warriors superstar guard Klay Thompson was issued this blue Warriors Christmas Day jersey during the 2016-17 NBA season, his sixth campaign with the Dubs. Thompson splashed his way through the 2016-17 season, averaging a career-best 22.3 points per game while making 268 three pointers. The former Washington State star made his third All-Star Game in 2016-17, giving the Warriors four players on the Western Conference roster. Along with his Splash Brothers Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, and Draymond Green, Thompson led the Warriors through a historic postseason run that saw them drop only one game, Game 4 of the Finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and ended with the Dubs lifting their second Larry O’Brien Trophy in three seasons.

On Christmas Day 2016, the Warriors faced the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena in a preview of the 2017 Finals. Thompson was the Warriors second leading scorer in this game, a 109-108 Cavaliers victory, dropping 24 points on 5-11 shooting from beyond the arc. This blue Christmas Day uniform has “WARRIORS” and Thompson’s number “11” sewn on the chest in yellow chenille stitching over yellow tackle twill. A second “11” is sewn on the back of the jersey in the same fashion. “THOMPSON” is sewn across the back shoulders in yellow tackle twill. A NBA logo resembling a wax seal is applied to the back of the jersey above Thompson’s name, while a four-time NBA champions tag is sewn on the back outside collar. A memorial band for former Warriors center Nate Thurmond is sewn on the left shoulder. A NBA Authentics tag and an Adidas size “XL” tag are sewn on the front left tail. A “Length +2”” flag is attached to the Adidas tag. Thompson has signed the first “1” digit on the back of the jersey in black marker, adding “#11” to his signature. This jersey comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication Services (F06021) for Thompson’s signature and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
