Caruthers is one of a few players who excelled as both pitcher and hitter during his career: he amassed 218 wins against only 99 losses, and compiled a lifetime .282 batting average. This beautifully well-preserved Caruthers commemorative boasts four square corners, an unsullied reverse and outstanding color.
