Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Among more than 1,700 copies recorded in PSA’s census reporting, just nine examples have been placed at a higher tier. Only in 1955 Bowman do the incredibly deep border colors – extending all the way to each edge and corner – highlight the central subject in such charming fashion. On this specimen, the "Color TV" framework is exceptionally well-preserved, with barely a fiber askew to connote past handling. Mays' likeness positively beams with intensity and precision in detail, and lovely gloss permeates the card's aesthetic. Fundamentally uncirculated Near Mint to Mint condition.
