Hall of Fame rightfielder Roberto Clemente has signed this album page dating to circa the 1950’s. Clemente, a lifelong Pittsburgh Pirate, was one of the first great Latin American players to reach the Major Leagues, and a true pioneer for Caribbean baseball players. Clemente collected 3,000 hits across his 18-season career, with a .317 batting average and the 1966 National League MVP Award. Clemente won two World Series titles with the Pirates, as well as 12 Gold Glove awards and four National League batting titles. Clemente was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in a special election in 1973 following his tragic passing. Clemente has signed this album page in blue ballpoint pen.
