This Brownsville Impala electric guitar has been signed by three members of the Who, as well as legendary musician and producer Todd Rundgren. The Who released their first record, My Generation, in 1965. Since then the Who have become recognized as one of the greatest rock acts of the 20th century, selling over 100 million records and influencing virtually every musician who took the stage in their wake.

This guitar has been signed by founding Who members Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, and John Entwistle. Additionally, Rundgren has signed the guitar. Daltrey and Townshend have signed the guitar’s pickguard, while Rundgren and Entwistle have signed the yellow body of the instrument. The signatures are written in blue marker. Rundgren added the inscription “2001” to his signature, while there is evidence of a personalization having been removed from Daltrey’s signature. This guitar comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A08441).
