Aaron Judge tied Joe DiMaggio’s longtime Yankees record for home runs by a rookie in this game, launching a two-run shot of Marco Estrada in the fourth inning for his 29th longball of the year, equaling DiMaggio’s 1936 mark. Judge finished this game 2-4 in the Yankees 7-6 loss. Judge ended the 2017 season as the American League Rookie of the Year, and his 52 homers set a new overall rookie record.
