During his high school years, LeBron James almost always wore Adidas sneakers. But, due to a lowball offer from Adidas before James jumped to the NBA, the future king selected Nike as his official shoe deal. Offered here is a prototype Adidas right shoe made for James by the sneaker company in February 2002, when James was still a student at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. The sneaker is a size 15, with three white Adidas stripes located on each side. “Adidas” is embroidered in gold on the tongue and heel, while “L 23 J” and “Pro Model” are embroidered in gold on the outside of the shoe. An Adidas factory tag is still attached to this shoe. This shoe is a fantastic collector’s item for any sneakerhead, and is a true piece of history from one of the greatest NBA players of all-time.
