This hardcover copy of Whitey and Mickey: An Autobiography of the Yankee Years by Whitey Ford, Mickey Mantle, and Joseph Durso has been signed by both of the New York Yankee Hall of Famers. Ford and Mantle both joined the Yankees in the early 1950’s, and the two hot prospects soon became good friends off the field. On the field, Ford and Mantle won six and seven World Series titles, respectively, with Ford’s service in the Korean War his only obstacle to a seventh and eighth World Series ring. Ford and Mantle were both inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974, as the only two members of their class. Both Mantle and Ford have signed this book in blue marker.
