Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and heavyweight champion of the world Muhammad Ali have signed this black and white photograph of the two titanic athletes jamming on guitars and drums. Abdul-Jabbar is seated at the drum set, a wide smile on his face, while Ali is fervently strumming an acoustic guitar. Abdul-Jabbar stated that “this picture was taken at a party that [he] went to when [he] was a freshman at UCLA”. It was the first meeting between Abdul-Jabbar and Ali, America’s two most noteworthy Muslim athletes. Ali has signed this photograph in black marker, inscribing “To Kareem / Love From / Muhammad Ali / Serve Allah, He is the Great Goal / 12-7-88”. Kareem has signed this photograph in black marker as well. This photograph measures 12 x 19 inches and comes in a 19 x 26-inch frame. This item derives directly from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and a personally hand-signed LOA from Kareem will accompany this item.
