Hall of Fame tailback Jerome Bettis wore this white Pittsburgh Steelers road jersey during the 1999 NFL season. Bettis, a Notre Dame product, rushed for 1,091 yards and seven touchdowns, notching his sixth season with over 1,000 rushing yards. Bettis retired after the 2005 season, having spent the previous 10 seasons in Pittsburgh and the first three years of his career with the Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams. In 2015, Bettis was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

This white Steelers road jersey has Bettis’ number “36” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in black tackle twill. “BETTIS” is sewn across the back shoulders in yellow and black tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. Black Nike swoosh logos are sewn on each sleeve, while the ends of the sleeve are accented with the Steelers iconic black and yellow stripes. A NFL shield is sewn on the collar and a Steelers circular logo patch is sewn on the left chest. A “99-52” tag is sewn on the inside collar of this jersey, while a size “52” Nike tag is sewn on the front left tail. This jersey has numerous team repairs on both the front and back. A Letter of Provenance from former NFL back Jamal Lewis accompanies this jersey.
