Walt Bellamy spent 14 years in the NBA after playing his college ball at Indiana University. Bellamy was also apart of the 1960 gold medal-winning United States Olympic Basketball Team that won the competition in Rome. Bellamy finished his career with 20,941 points, averaging 20.1 points per game for five franchises. Bellamy was a four-time all-star and made his first all-star team in 1962.
Offered here are the Rawlings size 36 shorts that Bellamy wore while representing the Chicago Packers on the West squad. Bellamy scored 23 points in 29 minutes as the Western Conference defeated the East 150-130. These offered shorts are a white satin material with a ribbed waist band that has a red/blue/white/blue/red striping pattern. The sides have a thick red stripe with three stars sewn on in white tackle twill. The Rawlings tag and the wash tag are sewn on the inner back waist lining. These shorts display excellent game use and come with a LOA from Walt Bellamy.
