In a testament to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s legendary basketball skill, the former UCLA center was named to the NBA’s 35th Anniversary All-Time Team in 1980-81. Abdul-Jabbar was 12 seasons into his 20-year career in 1980-81, having already won six NBA MVP trophies and two NBA titles. Abdul-Jabbar finished his career as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, with 38,387 points, and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. In 1996, Abdul-Jabbar was named to the NBA’s 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. This Hamilton watch has a circular, white face with a worn gold wristband. Etched on the reverse side of the face is “Kareem Abdul-Jabbar / Selected To / Greatest Team In / NBA History / 35th Anniversary Season / 1980-81”.
