The legendary Babe Ruth is pictured here during the final year of his career, spent with the Boston Braves. Ruth came back to Boston for the 1935 season, returning to Beantown for the first time since 1919. Ruth appeared in 28 games with the Senior Circuit ballclub, hitting the final six homers of his career for the Braves before riding off into retirement. This photograph shows Ruth hunched over on the top steps of the dugout comparing two bats. This photograph is in black and white and measures 9 x 7 inches. Period stamping is present on the back of the photograph. This photograph has been classified as a Type I photograph by PSA/DNA and has been encapsualted (84115308).
