This Official Major League Robert D. Manfred Jr. baseball was used during the Baltimore Orioles road game against the Los Angeles Angels on May 1st, 2018. It was pitched to three Orioles batters in the first inning by Angels starter Nick Tropeano, who first induced Jace Peterson to fly out to Cole Calhoun in right field. The second batter, current Dodgers star Manny Machado, rocked a 1-1 offering from Tropeano to left field for a double. The third batter of the inning, Orioles mainstay Adam Jones, saw the ball pitched in the dirt and taken out of play. This game finished 3-2 in favor of the Angels despite Machado’s 2-4 night with two doubles and a RBI. This baseball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JD 238123).
