The New York Giants ace Christy Mathewson is immortalized in this bronze Southland limited edition figurine. Mathewson, who won 373 games in his lengthy Major League career, was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936 as a member of Cooperstown’s charter class. Mathewson pitched for the Giants between 1900 and 1916, ending his career with one start for the Cincinnati Reds. This statuette stands on an oval wooden base with a “Christy Mathewson” placard affixed to the base. This statuette measures a total of 10.5 inches tall. It is a limited edition one of 100.
