Offered here is an incredible printed lineup card from 1934 of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago White Sox. The front has “PITTSBURGH PIRATES” and columns for “AB, R, H, PO, A, E). The Pirates lineup reads “10-LLOYD WANER, cf, 12-LINDSTROM, lf., 11-P.WANER, rf, 20-TRAYNOR, 3b, 21-VAUGHAN, ss, 24-SUHR, 1b, 50-LAVAGETTO, 2b. CATCHER PITCHER”. Hall of Famers Lloyd Waner, Freddie Lindstrom and Arky Vaughan have signed their names in pencil next to their names in the lineup, with Hall of Famer Honus Wagner signing his name vertically in the “PO” column. Bill Harris signed his name in pencil next to “CATCHER”. The remaining Pirates roster is printed below the lineup.
The reverse of this lineup card has the printed lineup of the “CHICAGO WHITE SOX”. With the same columns as on the front page, the White Sox lineup reads “9-SWANSON, rf, 35-BORDAGARY, cf, 29-BONURA, 1b, 5-SIMMONS, lf, 4-APPLING, ss, 7-DYKES, 3b, 2-HAYES, 2b, CATCHER PITCHER”. Jimmy Dykes signed his name in pencil next to his name in the lineup. The remaining White Sox roster is printed below the lineup. This lineup card is in good condition and displays toning from age and has a vertical crease down the middle. This item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (Z00658).
