Baseball’s home run king Barry Bonds was swinging this Glomar bat during the early 2000’s. Bonds was at his terrifying peak during these years, hitting 73 home runs in 2001 and a total of 258 from 2000 to 2004. Bonds won the National League MVP Award in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004, bringing his total number of MVPs to seven, an MLB record. Bonds’ Glomar G388model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. The left, right and back barrel has checking from repeated ball contact and there are many ball marks with stitch impressions visible. White leather ball scuffs and bat rack paint streaks can be seen along with a light coat of pine tar on the handle. The length “34” and weight “31” are stamped into the knob and Bonds’ number “25” is hand written in black marker. The slugger has signed the barrel in silver marker, completing this Barry Bonds gamer. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13533) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8. There is also an LOA from JSA for the signature.
