Michael Jordan wore this pair of Air Jordan XIII shoes during the 1997-98 NBA season, the final season before his second retirement. Jordan led the Bulls to their sixth NBA title with Jordan on the squad, defeating the Utah Jazz in a six game Finals. Jordan led the NBA in scoring for the 10th time in his career, dropping 28.7 points with 5.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. Jordan increased his scoring output in the playoffs, pouring in over 32 points per game overall with 33.5 points in the Finals. The former UNC Tar Heel started all 82 games for the third straight season. Jordan, after his two year stint with the Wizards, was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.
These Air Jordan XIII sneakers are both size 13.5, with a white body and black accents. Red Jumpman logos are embroidered on each tongue, while “JORDAN” tags are located on the base of each tongue. A circular Jordan hologram is located on each heel. The soles of the shoes are accented with red, white, and black. These shoes come with a Letter of Provenance from Allen Iverson.
