The Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was presented with this 1969-70 Rookie of the Year award by the 100% Wrong Club. Abdul-Jabbar was a force for the Milwaukee Bucks in his rookie season, averaging over 28 points and 14 rebounds per game for the 56-26 Bucks. He was awarded the NBA’s Rookie of the Year award in his first campaign, and in his second season Abdul-Jabbar led the Bucks to the franchise’s first, and to date only, NBA title. This 100% Wrong Club trophy measures approximately 17.5 inches tall and stands on a 8.5 x 8.5 inch base. A placard affixed to the base reads “Lew Alcindor 100% Wrong Club’s Rookie of the Year Professional Basketball 1969-70” and “Donor Gulf Oil Co. U.S.”. A 100% Wrong Club emblem is also etched on this trophy. This item comes with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
