Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was gifted this personalized Fender bass guitar in 1989. This bass has a metallic purple body, with a white pick guard and gold accents. The head of the bass is a natural finish, with “Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Model” printed on the head in black lettering. Included with this bass are two straps and cables for plugging the bass into an amplifier. Accompanying this bass guitar is a letter from Fender’s Vice President of Marketing gifting the instrument to Abdul-Jabbar. Abdul-Jabbar has signed the purple body of this bass guitar in silver marker, inscribing his number “33” in addition to his signature. This bass comes in a red case. It is accompanied by a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
